I cannot see Roy not having a tremendous game. The emphasis on getting him the ball will be even greater and Cincy has nobody who can challenge Roy (or so it would seem). OK Big Roy.. get it done tonight and be ready for Mr. Gray on Saturday May or may not be facing Gray on Saturday. This from last night's Pitt win over the Hall: "Gray, who sprained his left ankle in the final minute of a win over Washington on Saturday, was on the bench in warmups with a protective boot on his foot. "

Huggins clearly hasn't lost his recruting touch. Have you seen Kansas State's upcoming recruits? Pretty impressive.

Although it was only one game where he had some problems (Nova seemed to really bang him around down low), I would like to see Roy use tonight to concentrate on positioning himself well in the post. some quick entry passes would be a great sign - this also depends on the other players who must vacate the area and the guy with the ball to create a passing lane.
it seems to me that when Roy gets started early with one of those 'whoa-type plays' where he looks like a man among boys, the other team knows it is in for a long night and it affects them psychologically at both ends of the floor. against nova, there was the foul trouble, inability to get ii down low with the ease we had become accustomed and we never got the 'Cats to really play scared until late.
at this point, i'm not really concerned with ANYbody on this team being able to perform their roles extremely well. I just hope they have the opportunity to do so by us playing our game and asserting ourselves.
