No major revelations, just further creedence to the general dissatisfaction with his personal development: The situation just wasn’t right.

i'm really looking forward to tony doing well this season. in the first two exhibition games he led the team in scoring and had a double double. the biggest difference seems to be that he is ripped now. the articles comparison of him and tony parker is a good one i think. i knew tony and he was my favorite player while at georgetown. he made a tough decision to leave, but the ship was going down and it was a choice he needed to make for himself. players really werent getting any better under esherick, and leaving along with your best friends mike and drew made it a bit easier. i wish he had stuck around, but i dont blame him for leaving at all. hopefully he has worked on his handle a bit because that was the only thing keeping him away from having a shot at pg in the nba.

Can't fault him for leaving...
Doesn't make sense that someone with Gerald Riley's talent improves very little from his freshman year through his Senior year...
The player has to take some initiative, but the coaches should be assisting in the process...

Tony also hit two threes right at the beginning of the game to get the Wolfpack started.

Tony played 32 minutes against Elon, more than any other NC State player. I think he had 8 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds.
