Can someone tell me how the Hoyas rank nationally in offensive rebounds? I ask because last year I thought Bowman and Owens were not good rebounders and the statistics would improve this year with Summers and Ewing taking their places. Both were good rebounders before they got to the Hoyas.

Pomeroy has us as #14 in the nation so that sounds pretty good. Not sure how we were last year.

Last year as a team we were #70 overall, so this has been an area of improvement. Summers has the second-highest offensive rebounding percentage on the team (behind Roy, ahead of Jeff), so it appears that much of the improvement has indeed come from replacing Brandon with DaJuan.

Plus, our high shooting percentage hurts us on offensive glass.

Plus, our high shooting percentage hurts us on offensive glass. The Pomeroy rankings account for our high shooting percentages by measuring our offensive rebounds relative to our available misses.
