Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Jeffery Jordan the son of His Airness? I didn't think he was supposed to be anything special. Am I wrong or is this a little bit of nepotism (though understandable when your pops sponsors the event).

Congrats to both of our guys. Certainly deserved, IMO. Having two guys from a Jordan Brand school represented in this game is a very good thing both for us and for the brand. I suspect the fact that the two best players from DC are coming to Georgetown, and detail how JTIII has revived the program and all that. Great for our exposure, especially to potential recruits who watch these kinds of games.
Jeff Jordan is supposed to be a mid-major type recruit, and he is without a doubt only in this game because of his dad, which is understandable. He's still undecided and mostly likely holding out to see if he can get any better offers, but I think that's got a lot of potential to backfire because guys like Rose, Gordon, Mayo, Wright and Freeman are going to make him look pretty bad I'd suspect.
I don't know that this really means anything for the McDonalds game, there's usually a little variation there (remember that DaJuan made the Jordan game last year but not the burger game). However, Austin is a lock for McDonalds I'd say, and if the voters look at what Chris Wright has done this high school season, he's definitely going to. The only problem might be that some of them remember his play from last summer when he was ill and vote based on that rather than the high school season. That would definitely be unfair to Chris, but it's still possible.

Well he ended up getting tossed from a high school game (questionable decision if you see the video) and so he probably got a one game suspension from high school play, but I don't suspect that will preclude his participation in the post-season all-star games. If he really had discipline issues you might see him get left out of the McDonalds game (like Paul Harris last year) but I doubt it.

Is it St. John's that has one of Wooten's sons as their head coach? Or is that O'Connell?

Is Jeff Jordan undecided because he has no offers?
Or is he choosing between walk-on at UNC or the college his Dad will buy?

The issue with Jordan I think is that he really is a midmajor player but knows that his name will follow him. I don't think UNC is a reasonable destination, but I heard that some Illinois schools are giving him looks. We might end up seeing him next year at Depaul (or at least watching him on the bench)

Jeffrey looked silly last night against Gordon on ESPN2.
Fast fact, one of the reserves on the Loyola team, his mother, was a Reynolds - as in the Gtown dorm.
