Not on our recruiting list, but Carroll High's 6"8" junior guard Kris Joseph was written up in the Post on January 9th. He's a Canadian who came to DC for better basketball competition in the WCAC. From the article: "As opposing coaches have taken note of Joseph, so have college recruiters. Arizona State Coach Herb Sendek has been recruiting Joseph since before this school year and he now has plenty of company. Joseph said that Georgetown and Clemson recently made scholarship offers. Maryland also is recruiting him" I think there's often an optimism by recruits in interpreting a recruiting contact as an offer, but plenty of the guys on the board's recruiting list are there with less reason than this.

More like 6'6", but a definite STUD. This past Monday, he had the most amazing dunk of the WCAC season over 2 O'Connell players. Word on the streets is that he is the real deal.

Via a guy I play basketball with who works at Carroll as a JV or Asst. Coach:
JT3 told Joseph he could be "the next Jeff Green."
FWIW.

A 6'6 guard - that's still really tall. Is our plan to go 6'2, 6'6, 6'8, 6'8', 6'10 for the foreseeable future?
