Anyone know when the January 1/2 price discount kicks in on the ESPN Full Court package on Dish or DirectTV?

I would suggest calling one of the numbers indicated on the following page: proxy.espn.go.com/ncb/fullcourt/Just to highlight for those that hadn't heard, there is a Free Preview of ESPN FullCourt from Jan 5-12 (which would mean you should hopefully be able to catch the GU-ND game at no cost. Also, for those in the NYC area, it appears that MSG Network will have the game.

GU-ND is on ESPNHD / WCVB (channel 5) / WCVBHD (Comcast 805) in the Boston area.

It should kick in right about now.
Depending on your cable or satellite provider, though, you should get Saturday's game as part of a Full Court free preview this weekend.

Unlike in years past, Comcast in Atlanta is not offering the $14.95 single day pass for Full Court this season, and none of their customer service reps has any idea why this is.
Does anybody with Comcast in other areas of the country still have the single day pass option?

I live in florida and use Comcast Cable. I looked on the schedule of ESPN full court on my TV and the GU-ND game is not on there. However, if I subscribe to watch it on my computer, I can pick it up. I do know that the 1/2 prescription begins on January 6. There will probably be more clarification as game time draws near.

Checked on my DirecTv/TiVo last night and set it to record the game on channel 738 (I think). So it's on the Full Court schedule - I'm just hoping the free preview week rumors are true. Here's to a sweep for the Hoyas and Chiefs on Saturday.

Does anyone know for sure if we will be able to watch the game against ND online through the free preview? If so is there anything you have to do to watch it besides go to the ESPN Full Court Online Game Schedule?

If you' looking for Full Court stations, it would probably be 783 as all the FC stations are in the 780's on Directv. Also try 726 for MASN if you get the full sports package

As of yesterday, Comcast in Atlanta still couldn't tell me whether they were offering any of the free preview, single-day pricing, or a half-season pass.
There can't possibly be a less consumer-friendly company in America.

The half-season package popped as available today on Dish Nework's website. I just ordered it - $75.

There can't possibly be a less consumer-friendly company in America. There is. Cablevision. They suck more than any company in the history of the world has ever sucked. New Yorkers beware not to buy the full court till the half season discount kicks in, because all games until late january are either on national tv or against local teams.

Yes/No: Generally speaking if you have a regional network like MSG but live outside of their market (in this case New York metro), and they carry a game that is also being carried by Full Court, then you will be blacked out (unless you have purchased Full Court.) In this case, though, because Full Court should be in free preview with most providers (SHOULD -- it varies), they might not black it out. But I would not count on it.

Looks like Comcast is offering the game on demand, on something called ESPN PPV. I have checked out both the ESPN site and the Comcast site, but have not been able to come up with anything solid. I am hoping I can tune in tomorrow and pay something like $4.95 to watch the game, just like a regular PPV event.
Specifics for me -- Comcast Digital Cable in South Jersey channel 701.
