It is great to see JYD in the top 25 of all time HOYAS. Wish he was with us for four years instead of two. I hope that this team comes out Saturday and the rest of the way with the same intensity that Jerome showed while wearing the Grey #42. I think that III should lock them in a room Friday night and just show old game tapes to get them ready.Go Hoyas spank the leprechauns !

Jerome was a great player while at Gtown, but I will never be able to forget the missed bunny layup to beat UCONN for the BET title. Granted, our four corner offense and Ray Allen's one man show in the final five minutes killed us, but JYD had a layup to win as time expired.

DONT YOU DARE BLAME 'ROME FOR THAT LAY UP!
You must not have been watching or at that game because Jerome Williams was fouled and fouled hard under the hoop and no call was made. never ever blame him for that BET loss. JT's offense holds the majority of the blame but none of it belongs to Jerome Williams.

MARCH 3rd my Friends !!!!! I know it can't erase it but a Jeff Green dunk on Thabeet similar to Iverson's over Rudi Johnson and a Hoya rout would go a long way to ease my pain. I have to live in this crappy state and listen to Marble Mouth calhoun spit his gargle all over every newscast and paper !!

He should have made the layup! Not only do I blame that loss on JYD, but the floods in New England, Craig Esherick's comb over, and Syracuse winning a National Championship were all caused in part by JYD's missed layup. He should be banished from Hoyatalk lore.

JYD is the last person responsible for that loss. no one makes a layup with that many people hanging on them at one time. shaq wouldnt have scored on that play.

I know you were told that this was a meeting to discuss the upcoming game against Notre Dame, but this is an intervention. I'm sorry for lying to you but we felt it was necessary. Look, we all care about you. We are your friends. We are your family. But you have a problem. And if you can't see that problem on your own then we need to help you see it. We're concerned about you. I spoke to Jerome, sisko, and Jerome wanted me to tell you that it's going to be OK. He supports you. sisko, please try to understand, jerome was fouled. hard. repeatedly. i was sitting about 50 feet from him at the time. sisko, this is serious.

AI got fouled in the first place.
And honestly, Ray Allen's game winner hand no business going in the hoop on the previous play either. What crap.

Best intervention ever, Saved by the Bell, The Hot Sundaes! I learned my lesson, no caffeine pills for me, ever!
And JYD still should have made that layup!

The 4 corner offense was a huge mistake. Ray Allen was incredibly lucky. Jerome was fouled. Those are incontrovertible immutable facts, not articles of faith. No room for any doubt. This thread should be terminated before depression sets in, again. I was just getting over 1996, too.
