I don't understand the Tyler Crawford references. He didn't play last year and we were OK and he has not played this year and we are not.

Egerson has demonstrated notable improvement. Hibbert has improvement physically but has consistency issues. It's hard to say about Tyler b/c he has been out sick.
Do people really think that our players didn't work hard in the offseason? I think they busted their tails but they're just off to a slow start.

Do people really think that our players didn't work hard in the offseason? I think they busted their tails but they're just off to a slow start. A lot of them worked REALLY hard in the offseason. I remember reading a post about Crawford's first Kenner league game where he was described as "Arnold" because of his improved physique. Also, Roy lost something like 15 lbs of fat and gained a similar amount of muscle. That, my friends, is hard work. (Note: It is inherently harder to specifically quantify "basketball skills" improvement than physical development, but it would seem that if these guys are putting that much effort into lifting, "basketball skills" improvement efforts must also be at a pretty intense level.) In-season results so far have been mixed (at best) but no way can we sit here on an internet chat board and say that these players aren't busting their buns during the offseason.
