I'm guessing the BS category in that box is for blocked shots-- in which case 3 ain't bad! If BS stands for Bad Shots-- then well- bad Brandon strikes again.
Glad to see he got healthy minutes. Best of luck to him.

Double-Double for Bo-Bo. 12 points and 10 rebounds in 32 minutes. Missed ALL six free throw attempts though...! www.nba.com/dleague/games/20061129/ARKBAK/boxscore.htmlDespite memories of that 4-point play late against Notre Dame, I still believe that he and DO provided excellent perimeter defense. They were both long and athletic. While Brandon made bad decisions on the offensive end consistently, he was a solid defender and didn't "cheat" very often (despite, once again, the 4-point play). I don't think he gets enough credit on the board. I miss his presence out there.

Probably more points than madmoiselle green would have put up. Cheap shot. We all expect better, but that's unnecessary.

Ditto. "Venom" has been a real terror lately - getting a bit tiresome.
Yes I realize he (or she?) has like 2000+ posts on me. You got me there.

Shouldn't there be a 24-hour limit on spitefully motivated name changes, 'bridge? I was glad to see SF revert to form... what will it take? An ESPN 360 subscription? A new satellite package with MASN? Jeff Green throwing down on top of your noggin?

Probably more points than madmoiselle green would have put up. Wow. What a classy individual you are, anonymously ripping on a guy who has done more for Georgetown than you ever will.

I second the 24-hour time limit and am pleased by the rebound in general tone of the board from Wednesday night til now. At least we didn't have to wait very long to get a shot at redemption

My Name is Neil Corcoran I graduated from Georgetown in 2002 I lived in New South as a Freshman Later lived on 33 & Prospect Moved to MA after graduation Now live in San Francisco, CA
Am I known now? I'm not hiding. But I do know, I was here before you and I'll be here long after you've forgotten about Georgetown basketball.
You ask how could I be a fan when I dog the team so much? I ask how you could be a fan for not demanding more from a very talented team. This is a team who is flushing away its opportunity.
And for the record, I never claimed to have done any more or less than anyone else for Georgetown. I'm merely calling a player out for having an unbelievably bad start to the season. This is someone who was nominated as a Wooden Candidate and "lock" lottery pick...and he's being outplayed by freshman and role players. I will continue to ride him until he returns to form. The last thing he needs is a free pass from anyone. It's his own future he's messing with. Coddling him certainly won't help him crack an NBA roster.
As for the MASN and ESPN 360 subscription...I'll take em.

As a fan, how do you "demand" anything from a team you follow?
Give it up already. We all want the Hoyas to improve and show better results. But attacking them after two losses is pretty low.

Hey, this is totally unrelated, but I just checked your profile and we're like two weeks apart in age. My birthday is 10/12/79. Crazy. Anyways, I agree with you that I'm being irrational, but isn't that the nature of sports? What was so frustrating about the Esh era was the lack of development. The dawn of the JTIII promised an end to all that and the early returns were so positive. The problem is, being so far away from the program and rarely getting to see it in person or even on TV, you come to rely on the eyes and ears on the ground. From what I heard, I expected progression and development and its painful to finally see a game on TV and be overwhelmed by the skills regression and gutless floundering. I'll be back to my usual self in a few weeks...but the combination of the ODU and OU game knocked the stuffing out of any holiday cheer I had regarding this team. They can build back the trust, but its going to take a while.

Venom/bridge calm down a little bit man. You arent their coach and neither are any of us. You will never have a chance to ride them except for on this internet board (as is the only chance all of us will I am sure) and there is no point in spewing your vitriol to all of us. We are disappointed too and going off the deep end isnt going to help. Yes Jeff isnt playing well and you have every right to say so. I just think there is no point in having such constant negativity behind your words. It doesnt mean you have to sugar coat it but it also doesnt mean you have to make them more biting and negative.
Just my POV and I am not trying to start a you said this, he said that post. You can take it or leave it.
Good point about the subscriptions though haha

If the players don't read this board, who cares what is written on it? I say let Venom or anybody else have at them and let others counterattack the venomous posters. If they players are reading this board, my message to them is: "Stop reading the damn board and go practice defending on the perimeter and scoring against a zone defense and do your schoolwork!"

As for the MASN and ESPN 360 subscription...I'll take em. You can feel free to call someone out and say that it looks like they aren't trying hard, but it's another to repeatedly refer to them as "mademoiselle". And when I say you are anonymous, I mean that you feel free to refer to Jeff Green as "Mademoiselle Green" from the safety of a message board, but I sincerely doubt if he were standing in front of you, you would refer to him as such. Of course, I stand corrected if you actually do just that. Regardless, there is no reason anyone should be name calling anyone on our team. As Lizzie said in another post, that's something we'd expect from Syracuse fans. As for you being here longer than me, I've been on the message board longer than you, as indicated by the the joined on date. If you graduated in 2002, I assure you that I have been a fan much longer than you have. As for being here after you, if you are ready to write off Jeff Green, someone who has been one of the main keys to our team's successes the past two years and throw childish insults at him, I can only hope that indicates you don't have the patience to stick with the team for the long haul.

Is mademoiselle really that bad? I was paying hommage to one of Bill Parcels best digs at player.
As for the tenure issue, I cede the point to you. That shot was meant for the student fans not the alumns. Appologies.
Although, that brings up an interesting point. I guess our "joined" dates only reflect when we registered on this site as opposed to the predecessor...are those days lost forever or does someone still maintain a record of the insanity that was proboards.

As far as insults go, obviously it's on the tame side, but when it comes to our guys you have to give them the utmost respect. Besides, if you are going to insult anyone, save it for someone truly deserving - Coach K.
