Good stuff. Thanks for the link. Its great for the program to get all of this exposure.
What don't you get? You do know that Gandalf is part of the LOTR mythology don't you? The article said a combo of Gandalf and Yoda. Both of those characters are two powerful, wise and old mentors/teachers of the younger characters in their respective books and films. Kind of like JT and Carril are to JT3. And of course Yoda is very short (like Carril) and Gandalf is very tall (like Pops). Also Yoda was more serene while Gandalf is a more explosive and warrior-like type.

Good find here, spirit. I like the fact that the Post ran with this one day after the Riley news broke and put the Thompson story on the front page. I hope that this good deed is not forgotten and that Shapland et al. reciprocate the good will be giving the Post more access in the coming months and by granting them an extensive interview with JT3 before next season.
The article itself is a fine piece and I think it is great for our program. They managed to quote many of the "good guys" in Princeton basketball and addressed many of the thematic issues related to JT3's hire.

Nice to see the new coach getting himself out to the media early and often, even as he is hard on the recruiting trail. He's a good story - and one that, SID Office willing, should be promoted aggressively.
