Comcast SportsNet Debuts “SportsNite On Campus: All Mic’d Up” with George Mason’s Jim Larranaga
Nov. 13 During SportsNite at 10 p.m.
Bethesda, MD (November 7, 2006) - Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports television, will debut “SportsNite on Campus: All Mic’d Up” with George Mason head basketball coach Jim Larranaga, who led his Cinderella squad to the NCAA Tournament Final Four last season. The six-part series, which runs from Nov. 13-18 during the network’s nightly news program SportsNite at 10 p.m., features top area basketball coaches giving viewers a glimpse inside their teams preparing for the upcoming season.
Each night throughout the week, Comcast SportsNet will have a microphone on a different area coach during practice, providing fans an up-close look at what to expect from their favorite teams. The features will also include a preview of each area squad with player interviews, analysis and practice footage.
Coaches such as Larranaga, Maryland men’s head coach Gary Williams, Georgetown head coach John Thompson III and Maryland women’s head coach Brenda Frese, who led the Terrapins to the 2006 NCAA Women’s National Championship, will be featured during the weeklong series.
The following is a schedule for Comcast SportsNet’s “SportsNite On Campus: All Mic’d Up” series, which will run during SportsNite at 10 p.m.

· Tuesday, Nov. 14 Karl Hobbs and the George Washington Colonials

· Friday, Nov. 17 Dave Leitao and the Virginia Cavaliers
· Saturday, Nov. 18 Gary Williams and the Maryland Terrapins men’s team
