Now Jeff says he is staying? Is this week too good to be true?

That is amazing if its true.
Next year's rotation would be sick.
Front Court: Jeff, Roy, Macklin, Ewing, Summers
Backcourt: Wallace, Sapp, Austin, Wright

I read Jeff's comments more as "I want a degree" than "I'm 100% sure I'm playing for Georgetown next season." As Vince Carter would tell you, it's possible to graduate while participating in the NBA playoffs.
Roy is clearly more definitive than Jeff.

Some excellent stuff overall, and the guy shows a pretty good sense of self-deprecating humor despite the razzing.

As Vince Carter would tell you, it's possible to graduate while participating in the NBA playoffs. Roy is clearly more definitive than Jeff. I had the exact initial reaction except for the part where he actually says he wants to stay for 4 years (and then I started over-analyzing... why would he say this? Why is Hibbert more credible even though he is 7'2? etc etc) "I've been talking to my dad and I want to get a degree. People in my family haven't gotten the opportunity that I have, so I want to take advantage of that and get myself a degree, so I think I'm going to stay all four years....You know, after basketball, what else am I going to have? So me getting a degree is a big part of my future." Of course, what else can he say at this point in the season?

Agreed SFO. The way I read it is that Jeff will consider the NBA after this year, while Roy won't even think about it.
