This means we won, I guess.
And ripping on the facilities is ok with me. Perhaps Ted Leonsis or another rich alum will read this, become embarrassed, and pony up $10 million to start a renovation project.

This guy and his ramblings aren't worth our time or space on this board. I have it on good authority that he feels JT3 runs a crooked program, and I would suspect his 'bloggings' would reflect an anti-Hoyas bias.
Toss.

FWIW: If you don't want to get yourself arrested this evening, I'd resist clicking that link, be happy you're a Hoya, know that the Twerps blow and that you do not need any more proof than you've already seen.
This will back up my next UMCP visit at least a month.

I love how its costing this dope $15 or $20 dollars to park, and that he thinks its lame.
Hey buddy - maybe when you decide to become a REAL member of the media and actually WRITE ARTICLES that aren't 3 paragraph blog entries, you'll earn a credential or two that would bring with it the privilege of the all-too-rare [angelic music] Georgetown University Parking Pass [/angelic music].
And the food court I assume he's talking about has to be Hoya Court (or whatever its called now), correct? Wasn't that completely revamped recently? Is it still that awful Taco Bell Express, with the generic burger, Chinese and pizza joints?

Fast Break (I will never call it by its new name)- KFC, Taco Bell, Subway, Pizza Hut. Nothing spectacular, but what do you want?

Or the lazy bum could actually walk and park on the street. WOw...talk about justifying the perceptions that 'journalists" are fat and lazy who only herd from one feeding room to the next.
Good lord.

THis was AWESOME from PEII. I LOVE this. Talk about elevating the conversation. Gary is all worried about the BB&T Classic and getting to 8-8 in the conference while we're thinking National Championship. Nice Gary....classic.
Incidentally, if you're interested in basketball news, confidence is rampant out here. Like, real rampant. I asked Pat Ewing which team was the best in the area (more on this later), and here's what he said.
"Best team in the area? I'm not really concerned with teams in the area. We're more concerned with the best team in the nation, and I think as long as we get what we need to get done, we're the best team in the nation."
"The nation?" I said.
"The nation," he said. "As long as we do what we're supposed to get done, no one should be able to beat us."
Keeping the expectations low out here.

I think this is totally true -- but we should use it to our advantage -- how hard would it be to give parking passes to the press and have a decent food and drink spread for them at media day? Yes, they are lazy and slothful, but let's keep 'em happy. This is part of Hoya Paranoia I'd like to see become history -- treat them nice with food and parking, don't make them pay for parking and a taco at fast break!

Great quote by Ewing Jr -- why should anyone be surprised, we are ranked top 5-10 in most places......the goal should be to win the national championship!

Jeff says he's staying all four years! I know to take it with a grain of salt but... ;D
Jeff Green on his two remaining years of eligibility: "I've been talking to my dad and I want to get a degree. People in my family haven't gotten the opportunity that I have, so I want to take advantage of that and get myself a degree, so I think I'm going to stay all four years....You know, after basketball, what else am I going to have? So me getting a degree is a big part of my future."

The nicknames are fantastic:
"Vernon Macklin is "The Big Ticket," which is solid. Roy Hibbert is "The Franchise," which is fine, and "Big Roy," which isn't. Jeff Green is "Gangrene," "Super Jeff," "Beast," "Green Lantern" and "The Predator," which is his preferred nickname, although he doesn't have that crazy hair any more. Jonathan Wallace is "Bama Boy," "Cornbread" and "Light Skin," which might not be super politically correct. Also "Bebolati," which can be spelled a million different ways, as near as I can tell, and has something to do with the size of his head. Tyler Crawford is "Bam Bam," "Air Force One" and "TY." Jessie Sapp is "New York" or "J-Sapp." Patrick Ewing is "Junior," "JR," and "Bird Man." Sead Dizdarevic is "The Serbian Child." Also solid."

Lord, this guy is a sensitive sally...can't take a little ribbing. Personally, I don't care about his perspective, I just want to hear from the players in real-time. Judging from his picture, he looks like a whiny little bizzo.
