I am assuming that ODU & WSSU are not part of the standard season ticket package. Is this correct?
Assuming it is correct, is there anyway to get the ODU tickets if you hold season tickets? I think that might be a fun game to watch. As far as WSSU & Hartford go, you've got to be kidding me!

Actually I had assumed when I bought my season tickets that they were tickets to ALL home games. I know last year they excluded the McDonough game but I don't recall any notice of that in the information I received this year and the aggregate ticket price went up, which I thought was a reflection of the fact that there are more games (I'm talking about the tickets, not the donation levels, which we all know went up).
In fact, there's a link on the "season ticket" home page to the schedule which references games at McDonough. So if I don't get the tickets to those games in my package, I'll be calling the ticket office and asking why the #@$% not and why they didn't tell me that I was buying a partial home game package and not a season ticket package (unless there's some notice somewhere I missed). They do a great job over there, but as I've said before, if they jack up the prices then they better be expected to not make mistakes like this or some people will get turned off and just buy the Big East season package for $125 with no donation. Until they sell out every ticket to every home game, they can't afford to start alienating people/donors.

It is not possible for the McD games to be included in the season ticket plan because there are more season ticket holders than space in McD.

Nothing to do directly with this, but it would have been nice if Hartford was a McD & ODU was at Verizon. ODU would be a fun game to watch I think.

It is not possible for the McD games to be included in the season ticket plan because there are more season ticket holders than space in McD. Yeah, that'd be it. I mean there's also that small matter of 2,000 students with season tickets. For the record, the McDonough games are not included in season ticket plans for alums or young alums. I know the YA ticket prices are calculated once they figure out how many home games we have. Pretty sure the calculation this year was 15 games x 15 bucks = 225. Count the number of Verizon Center home games and I think that'll verify it. As for that second question, I have no idea how to go about getting tickets. I don't know for sure what policy the ticket office is going to use for students yet. That probably determines how many tix are left over for alums/general public. Even then, I have no idea what McD plans on doing with those tix--donation level? first come first served? lottery? who can recruit the best child to dunk on a Fisher Price hoop? If I find out I'll make sure everybody knows--I'm supposed to be writing for the Hoop Club's blog when it starts this season, and this kind of question is the type of thing I'm watching out for.

Having graduated last May, I signed up for the Young Alumni season ticket package. Steve Alleva called me last night to verify my credit card information, and I asked about the process for getting tickets for the ODU game. He said that a flyer with information about the ODU game will come in the mail with our tickets. That's all I know.
