I know holidays are a rough time, but the HOYAS in Bridgeport, CT. at the Arena at Harbor Yard the night before Thanksgiving. It is a great way for us to show our support and make it a Hoya Home Game. The Stags wont sell more than a few hundred tickets, if that.Jump in your cars, and let's show the grey and blue that this crappy state is not only full of bandwagon husky fans. SEE YOU THERE !!!!

Anyone else offended that NYC is lumped in with New England? Yes. Hell, I'm offended CT is part of NE.

I am currently in a round of negotiations to fully determine the level of involvement that I can offer for this game. I had originally expected to host a houseful of students to help make this feel like a home game. I fear that the timing of this game will make that impossible. This is probably for the best as Mrs. Jahidi was having a bit of a hard time figuring out how we could host a gaggle of Hoyas fans!
As many of you know, Mrs. Jahidi and I live only 15 minutes away from the arena. Mrs. Jahidi is also a graduate of Fairfield University which means it could be an interesting night at my house!
Here are the ideas that I have been exploring: a) Hosting a pre-game bash at my place b) Hosting a pre-game bash at the arena or local watering hole c) Hosting a post-game bash at my place d) Hosting a post-game bash at a local watering hole
Is there someone on this board that wants to help put something together?

By the way, let me please add one thing...
I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAME!!!!! I WILL SAVOR EVERY MOMENT OF DESTROYING THAT TEAM AND BASKING IN THE GLORY THAT IS HOYAS BASKETBALL.
Thank you for letting me express that.
I will also add that I will try to coordinate a group ticket purchase so that Hoyas fans have good seats and sit together. Details to follow.

Jahidi,
I met you at the Garden and was sitting next to you in the Spike seats, when Ashanti crashed into us and you miraculously saved your beer- pure brilliance. The night before Thanksgiving at Harbor Yard !!!!! See you there !!!! For all others, offended or not about the NY / NE lumping, I just want Hoyas Fans in the House. A smaller arena, easy to get to right off of 95 and no opposing fans to speak of ! HOYA, SAXA !!!!

That was a great night. I even impressed myself with my ability to protect my beer while Ashanti knocked into my wife and my attorney. The bruise my wife had lasted for over a week! The hangover I had from the beer lasted only a couple of days.
I cannot wait! We will definitely make a scene at Harbor Yard that night.

Jahidi - Do you bring your attorney to every game you attend as a practical consideration? Perhaps 007 should seek out representation and bring him/her to the games with him - would certainly help with Clarence and the rest of the Verizon staff ...

Very interesting - the software for this site converts su_cks into stinks. Anyway, nyc does stink but I meant the former.

I threw in an underscore after su... I remember seeing people use the word for Cuse as in SUck_s and don't remember seeing underscores so I was surprised to see it convert it. I'll try it again. New England sucks.
