I know it's probably 5 minutes after the last game but the last second loss teaser by hoyaboy1 got me jonesing for an update on what teams are still in the hunt to be destroyed by Roy and the rest of Clyde's.

Yeah, I'll do it when I'm done laughing or crying, I can't remember which one. Weird night.

Yea, I'm not too motivated, as it was an awful game. Tombs had the Gtown 5 and Weingarten, and thus as always started hot (16-0) then started sucking - awful foul trouble didn't help. I think the same guy hit the last second 3 this time and the last time these 2 teams played.
By my rough count (hard to manage it all in my head), Macklin had 18, Summers 9, and Rivers 3. Summers was pretty much terrible after a 6 point burst to start the game, missing horribly on all his jumpers. Wallace played well, and Jeff did in bursts, but never really got into it because of fouls. Oh yea - Tombs' coach no-showed.
As I mentioned in the other thread, Chris Wright was there.

Oh yea - Tombs' coach no-showed. Not true. He just came dressed as Steve Weingarten. ;D One of the highlights for me was having to subtly tell all the people I was with who didn't come last week...after 10 solid minutes of loud, non-stop Weingarten jokes...that (as we figured out last week), we were sitting about 3 rows behind his family. Good show!

As long as Weingarten was stuck alone on the bench twiddling his thumbs there were going to be jokes, no matter where the family sat.
Looked absolutely ridiculous.
Could have been Jeff just chilling on the bench and the jokes would have been made (and they were).
I do feel bad for him. The kid looks scared no matter the situation and here he is, without a coach, the odd man out playing with the future stars of the Hoyas. He's gotta ask either a BE POY candidate, the starting PG of a top 10 team, basically two McD All-Americans or Doc Rivers' kid who is as just as big as Weingarten himself and able to actually handle the ball. All the Hoyas know each other and then there's lil ol' whitey Weingarten trying to break into the fold. As I said then, there really wasn't much of a point of him sticking around the situation was so shaped against him.
