Congrats from one who experienced the same relief 18 years ago. Make sure to enjoy your summer and don't be afraid to drink regularly while preparing for the bar exam.

Happy congratulations, indeed.

Five days until I am done with grad school I AM DONE WITH GRAD SCHOOL!!!
Thinking of good places to hang a master's degree from WG...considering hiring Craig Esherick to advise me in this matter.

I am too, you don't see me making a big fuss about it.
ON EDIT: Clearly I didn't major in reading the title of the thread - i am done with my bachelors - not with my JD - that is three years from now.

Add me to the list.
Just finished four years of JD-MBA hell up here at Benedict Arnold College. StPete and others interested in law school - don't go and incur all this debt unless you are REALLY SURE you want to get into the profession.
Otherwise, feels pretty good.
Jager is flowing.

As a wag told me in a closely- related context:
Congratulations on winning the pie-eating contest. Your prize is more pie.

Congrats, but on a serious note, now is the time to really put in the effort for a successful bar exam. No time for slcking off because so much depends on passing the first time around. Good luck but I am sure that with a GU law education you have a big leg up. I know the GU law education has been the rock I built upon.

Dear Recent JD Recipient,
Welcome to Team Darkness. I am certain that you will use the knowledge that has been bestowed upon you to advance my causes both at home and abroad. Now go out there along with the rest of my minions and toil endlessly to make the world a worse place.
Yours in Evil, Beelzebub

Congrats braskyiii ... now, let's give a fresh injection of LIFE to this little thread. Here's an image of a graduation cake. www.sugarcraft.com/catalog/holiday/grad/waferck.jpgAs we all can see, it has a message that sort of trails off into the future. What might a J.D. degree bring to good ol' William B iii in the future? (B/t/w W B iii -- is it a GULC degree or is that degree from some "lesser institution" .... ;D ;D ;D Which of course, they ALL are ... well, maybe 'ceptin' Harvard but I digress...) What Bar Exam are you sitting for? One of the hard ones? (California? New York?) Or one of the easier jurisdictions? We need a little input from you so that the messages used to finish off your piece of decorative parchment on the top of that cake are ... ummm ... fairly reliable prognostications. More seriously ... CONGRATULATIONS! But confine your drunken revelry to 48 hours and get crackin' with BAR-BRI. The degree is only a piece of expensive parchment decoration for your wall until you've been given a green light to actually PRACTICE in the profession!

Dear William, Unless you are legally retarded, study minimally and drink heavily until July 4th. At that point commence panic for 5 hours. Then spend every waking moment studying. After the first day of the exam realize that you have no chance of passing. Take the second day anyway. After the second day commence drinking until blackout. You will be shocked and relieved to discover that you have in fact passed. Then enjoy [ ] being a lawyer. Love, Members of the Bar
