It has. And no offense to Dayton - it was a great host city - but THANK GOD WE DON'T HAVE TO PLAY IN DAYTON. I remember getting a cab to go see a movie on Saturday between the games and a guy pulled up with a beat up pos cab that was blaring bluegrass - i didn't know there were bluegrass radio stations - much less that you can bump it and roll ... I'd go back to Dayton in a heartbeat, really no complaints from me. Maybe the lines to the bathroom at UD Arena, but other than that I have nothing but amazing memories from Dayton. It'll take a lot next year to surpass that experience, especially considering the group of people that were there. Don't get me wrong Group that went = excellent Games = amazing Segner = awesome Hooters and a Steak and Shake with in walking distance of each other = heaven bars downtown = pretty good Arbys in Columbus = incredible rest of Dayton = crap

I'd go back to Dayton in a heartbeat, really no complaints from me. Really? Your visit involves taking a 10 or so hour bus ride both ways with several dozen of your closest friends, having the hotel and tickets partially subsidized by Hoya Blue's profits, a roughly three day long non-stop party with said friends, not to mention the Hoyas' first tournament appearance in five years, and blowing out the "home" team to advance to the Sweet 16. And you don't have any complaints?? Well there's a shocker. ;D (Did I mention how Editeded off I still am two months later that I couldn't go? ;D On a related note, I will never set foot in Tampa, Florida EVER AGAIN.**) The cool part about the opening rounds of the tourney is that a lot of the venues are in smaller type towns and college venues. Here we had a two top 20 caliber teams from the Big East and Big Ten playing for the right to go to the Sweet 16 in a middle of the pack Atlantic 10 team's gym. You gotta admit, it wouldn't have been QUITE as cool had you guys had to go to, say, outer Detroit or Dallas this year. I say bring on Buckeye-ville next March...maybe just watch out for all those weird-o sexual predators wearing OSU gear that got nabbed in the sting on that Dateline special last week. (**Unless we play our first round games in 2008 at the St. Pete Times Forum. There's also a site in NORTH LITTLE ROCK...so don't complain about whatever was wrong with Dayton.)

one inclusion i'm surprised at is rutgers making it as a 10 seed? I'm confused by this too. Let's see, they weren't very good this year, and will almost certainly lose their only good player, yet they'll make the dance.

Despite the fact I find "Bracketology" ridiculous, at least we know that Lunardi uses his "powers of Creepyness" for good. I have always thought he looks like the guy who scopes Elementary School playgrounds in the Afterschool Specials of "Good Touch/Bad Touch".
And to sit around and dream up things like this--and get paid for it, life is good for him--or at least keeps his occupied while rest of us find other ways to waste time. ;D

Kind of like the guy from Diff'rent Strokes who gave Dudley and Arnold the booze, smokes and smut, right?

Kind of like the guy from Diff'rent Strokes who gave Dudley and Arnold the booze, smokes and smut, right? Yeah--you got it. And then Mr. D and Al Skinner come in and talk to their sons/save them, it's a touching moment. How Skinner didn't get an Emmy is beyond me-but he's doing well at BC now, so guess it doesn't matter.

That's part of the reason behind the BC move to the ACC. Dudley's dad wants Coach k's boys to teach his kids how to play jungle man like Mr. Carlson did...

Thanks. Those who know me are often astounded at the wealth of utterly useless information crowding my brain.

It is a good thing that Skinner gave up that nasty smoking habit. It would have been a shame if the BC players took to it like Dudley did! A real shame

Ridiculous as it may be to do these things so early, its definatley encouraging that Lunardi (who is among the most respected predictors of these things) is giving Georgetown this much love. I mean, he is essentially predicting the HOyas to be #1 in the Big East

Certainly we're the safe pick - lots of teams still have potential departures, whereas Jeff and Roy have committed to coming back.
