In that case, Caddyshack. Seminal works from both Kenny Loggins and Journey.

I may only be in "Others Receiving Votes", but my posting RPI is in the teens. In fact, Lunardi has me as a 5 seed.
The real question is, who's the GW of the rankings?

It's a trick question actually.
The greatest movie soundtrack of all time is from a fake documentary about music.
(No, not Spinal Tap.)
The answer is 24-Hour Party People. If you haven't seen it, you haven't lived.
For actual movies, the winner is, of course, Singles. Followed by any Amy Heckerling movie.
Tarantino? Also overrated!

Tarantino is overrated. Puts together good soundtracks, though
There was also the following:
Urban Cowboy Six Pack, starring Kenny Rogers

Top Gun automatically wins every movie discussion, not the least of which being the soundtracks arguement, which "Highway to the Dangerzone" kills 74 times over.

Urban Cowboy Six Pack, starring Kenny Rogers Wow. Top Gun automatically wins every movie discussion, not the least of which being the soundtracks arguement, which "Highway to the Dangerzone" kills 74 times over. Wow. Just. . .just. . .wow. I really don't know what else to say. But my ears are weeping, if that's possible.

HA! I just gave you an "eargasm" Holy God that is an awful mental picture. Not as bad as the one of St. Pete using the "throw dribble" to score w/ a girl, but still just awful.

I am counting on a major boost as hype begins to build for the Simpsons movie. If only the Bruins had made the NHL playoffs. I'd be in the top 25 in no time. Oh well. I guess I'll just wait for the next big debate. . . . . . . .best all-time movie soundtrack? Anyone? Anyone? [and don't you dare come back at me with 'Reality Bites'! Soooo overrated!] Pump up the Volume

Oh c'mon, Buff - don't you think we would all LOVE to see live shots of you pacing around the room, ranting and raving to yourself as you tried to come up with just the right words for post number 2,799, extolling the virtues of the Sabres or the ambience of the smells still wafting down from the Lake?? ;Dl That's insensitive. Everyone knows that Buff was tragically injured in a botched kidnapping attempt fifteen years ago. A police snipers bullet severed his spinal cord rendering him eligible for murder ball. As of now he is a .5. Hopefull, with more therapy he'll be a 1.0 before the world championships next year, but for now all he can basically do is roll around his parents basement, type with his chin-mounted keyboard, sip beer through a straw and dream of the next hoya championship. To claim that he would be pacing back and forth...well, that smacks of patronizing and delusional optimism. Fie on you. I for one, am just happy that Buff has found a calling that does not see his situation as a handicap; rather as an advantage. Who else could keep such a prodigious pace of postings than a moribound quadripalegic? For that I salute him. Huzzah! Seriously. No response? I am shocked and appalled by how lax this board has become. Where are the posters with quad relatives calling me insensitive? You people disgust me with your apathy. Where is the outrage?

18th according to the rankings? I guess I'll have to post quite a bit more by the time October rolls around in order to match the preseason ranking of our Hoyas.

I continue to be in freefall on this list. From a one time spot solidly in the top 3 to "Others Recieving Votes." All because the good people at Merrill Lynch IT saw fit to block access to these boards. My productivity went through the roof unfortunately.

And had you been Syracuse, the IT people would have made about 300 extra posts under your handle to keep you in the Top 25 for the meanwhile without you actually deserving it.

I guess St. Pete's and I are the model for the Hoyas pre-season rankings.

I knew I wouldn't be anywhere near, but I am a little dissappointed with myself for being dissappointed for not being on the list.
But not as dissappointed as being at work on Sunday.
