If you were to re-seed the field after the first weekend, how would it look? Without doing a total homer job, this is how I would see it:
1) Uconn, 2) Duke, 3) Nova, 4) Memphis, 5) Texas, 6) UCLA, 7) Florida, 8) BC, 9) GTown, 10) LSU, 11) Gonzaga, 12) WVU, 13) George Mason, 14) Washington, 15) Wichita St., 16) Bradley.

how did you come up with this? With only the first two games as evidence, I guess it MIGHT make sense. But looking at the whole season, I don't know how you can have us ahead of WVU, for starters.

Pure G'town bias. There is no math and it is all opinion. I also don't think WVU had very tough first weekend games and we seem to have crossed over yet another invisible hurdle with our road W yesterday.

I would rank Bradley higher. Their big man was great yesterday he made that kid from Pitt look dumb every time he got the ball in the post

There are plenty arguments, but who's to say my opinion is better than yours?
But George Mason dispatched two top-tier programs...hard to put them at 13...Washington beat an Illinois team that is pretty solid...
If I were to re-seed, I'd keep Duke at no. 1...they dispatched GW pretty easily...probably Memphis at no. 2...
All the rest is just too difficult to try to figure out...

If you're going by recent play, I might move us up a spot or two. BC did need two overtimes in the first round. Granted, they beat down Pacific in the second OT (14-2) if I remember correctly.

Neither Gonzaga nor West Virginia have been particularly impressive.

As much as I am in love with these Hoyas, let's not forget that we struggled hard on friday to get by a #11 seed. Let's keep laying low and using that as motivation to survive and advance.

Georgetown would be seeded 13th or 14th (as would wichita st.) and be seeded against a #1 seed in the next round (either Villanova or Memphis) if there was a true reseeding based on the same criteria that the committee used when seeding the tournament. Duke Bradley Gonzaga BC Memphis Georgetown Texas WVU UCONN George Mason Florida LSU UCLA Washington Nova Wichita St.

Come on Frazier, it was a 10 seed we got by on Friday, give the guys more credit.......and BTW, two of that team's conference-mates are also among the Sweet 16 teams, so "struggling mightily" against them isn't necessarily an awful thing.
In my mind, I say we'd be around 8 or 9 right now.
