To all of the student members of the Board, enjoy this and make your world revolve around it for as long as it goes. There was a time, not so long ago, when the entire basketball universe revolved around 37th and O.
Thompson was the Coach; we had a kid named Ewing; we played tough defense and could score alittle bit.
Do the words "Back to the Future" ring a bell? Your time is now. Find a way to Minneapolis and bring the Hoyas home with aregional title on your way to St. Louis.
I'd do it, but I'm too damn old and tired.

Vadie, I'm with, you old and tired and all - but I will use the wisdom and devices of the ages to aid in this quest. We shall return the glory to the Hill. HOYA SAXA.

Do the words "Back to the Future" ring a bell? Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads. I cheated on the congratulating current students theme--I sent a text message to the Hoya Blue/student roadtrip bus currently on its way back from Dayton: "Pretty awesome feeling, isn't it? Congrats, Generation Roy!!"I know a lot of friends at GU who were lucky enough to make it to Dayton this weekend. I had a phone conversation with one about 45 mins after the game, and even I basically could only keep repeating the first line of that text message above. I do hope that a bunch of students still have it in them (and, more importantly, their bank accounts) to make it to the Twin Cities next weekend. But let me tell you, aside from the Metrodome, there's no place I'd rather be on Friday night than parked in a chair in Sellinger Lounge in front of a big screen TV, back on campus again for the Sweet 16. Some new generation this is. ;D
