How much does a Globetrotter make annually? Anyone with a guess? Just curious.

I have no idea how much a Globetrotter makes, very interesting story though.
I saw a highlight of one of Hunter's dunks last year against Colorado State I believe and it was absolutely ridiculous. He threw it down really hard right on top of a big man that must have been a power forward or center, it was an amazing play.
I also saw him come off the bench in the MW tournament and hit about 4 threes in a row to bring UNLV back. He certainly has talent but those ankle injuries have really hurt him I think. Would have been nice to have had him healthy at Georgetown for 4 years.

His best dunk was over 6'10" Eddie Griffin of Seton Hall and now of the NBA. His head was at the rim and for a guy barely over 6 feet that was amazing.
Maybe the same feelings of loneliness (?) that caused him to leave GU, caused him to leave Sweden.

;D Maybe Sellen's cheerleading squad wasn't on a par with UNLV's ........ The article mentions the "business side" rather than his departure being basketball-related. I've heard some players complain that certain overseas teams are not exactly prompt payers when it comes to issuing salary checks. Not sure what the situation in Sweden is, but that's been the knock on certain teams in Eastern Europe and Turkey. Hey, Nevada ....... just back from the marathon. All went well. Kid finished in top 100, in fact, out of over 2,000 entrants in that part of the event. Not bad for a first-timer. Lots of hills on the course, some more killer than others. Half of my plane was filled with people going out to participate in the marathon and affiliated with a North Jersey group of Team in Training.

HoyaLawya, did you run the last mile? Congratulations to the Kid, outstanding to be in the top 100 in that size of a race. What was the time?

More like last 2/3 mile ...... I did a lot of jogging all day just to get into position at different spots along the course to cheer her on!! ;D ;D
She posted a time of 4:55:30 which would be no great shakes on a flat course, but S.F. is a town with a lot of hills and the course took advantage of them. Joan Benoit Samuelson and Emily Procter (actress from "CSI: Miami") participated in the race and led the warm-ups / stretching at the beginning before the Start.
With runners from every state in the country represented, the event raised $10 million for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

That's very high up there on my favorite Hoya basketball moments in 4 years as a student. That game was an ESPN Big Monday game the first day of classes back from X-mas break, 99-90 we won at the Meadowlands for the second win over the (vastly overrated it turned out) Hall in about 10 days. I like to think it was us that sent them into the tailspin. It was definitely the 16th win in a row to start the season, and it may have been our debut as a Top 10 ranked team. I can't let this thread go away without mentioning another Hunter dunk however. The one he had at the beginning of the Syracuse game later in the year. He was on an uncontested fast break, and he must have took off from a couple feet outside of the paint at an angle. He was darn near horizontal when he hit the rim. I don't think I've ever heard the MCI Center louder at a single moment. "Fun" fact I remember about the Seton Hall dunk: that year, ESPN.com and the college bball halftime show did a weekly poll for the Best Dunk of the Week or something like that. Well, that week Demetrius dunking on Eddie Griffin came in second!! It lost to...Julius Page dunking on Ruben. That hurt.

The MCI Center was really rocking after that dunk vs. Cuse.

I'm hoping I can say the same after many Jeff Green and Tyler Crawford dunks over the next few seasons.

Another nice Demi dunk was when he was a freshman in HS, playing for Green Valley HS. He got a rebound about a foot over the hoop and sent it down. I was impressed!
