Its a preference question not where you think we will end up - six great cities and Detroit and Salt Lake City - not that bad.
Lots of great candidates - those using logic will go with Philly. Those who like Ron Burgandy will go for San Diego.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means ...

Under what logic are Greensboro, Dayton, or Jacksonville great cities? I just want a Friday/Sunday site, because I will have to break up a wedding that is scheduled for Saturday if GU might be playing that day. Philly, Dayton, Detroit, or Dallas will work, obviously Philly would be great for travel but a very tough ticket too.

Yeah, I definetly wouldn't put JAX into the "great city" category. I spent one weekend of my life there for the Super Bowl, and that was enough for me. (If the Eagles had won, I might have a slightly different opinion, but even that couldn't change Jax too much.)

Ok but I'd put these places on the "better than Detroit and the Mormon World Capital" list.

Jacksonville has that "largest city by geographic area" thing going for it. Other than that...umm...didn't Fred Durst live there at some point?
Among the major metro areas in Florida, the only one that I'd say I like less would be...the one I'm sitting in right now waiting around for the USF game.
I know, I know. We played tourney games in Tallahassee one year. But I refuse to acknowledge the existence of my state's capital and the university therein. Which is too bad, cause I really liked Leonard Hamilton once.
But I'm still rooting for J-Ville next Sunday. Cause Stubhub is gonna looooooooove me.
BTW, great as it is to wish for Philly, again, w/ Nova a lock to be there and UConn a near-lock, the chances of us actually playing there are about 2% right now.
I say screw it all and let's play in Boise

Purely selfish reasons for Detroit -- I'd be able to drive down!

Detroit as I live about an hour and a half door-to-door from the Palace.
Plus, show Detroit a little bit of love -- we do have casinos and Windsor right across the river. Where you gonna gamble and look at nekkid girls in Salt Lake City? Hmmm?

I live an hour from Greensboro...plus we would have the chance to fight dook fans in the parking lot...by fight I mean beat senseless...that would be priceless.

Maybe it's just me, but traditionally we have seemed to have success playing far from the madding crowds, with no distractions.

I voted for Dallas - SMU sorority girls - that's money in the bank.

Philly, with San Diego coming in second due to a friend promising housing for about 30 Georgetown students if we go out there, haha

I'm voting for Detroit. I've been told by a very reliable source that they have the best Chinese food in the world there.

San Diego... I'll be there for the WBC semis and finals anyway, might as well scalp for a Hoya game or two.

Greensboro would be the closest drive for me, that or Jax.

Philly at happening...
Greensboro is the only possible locale I'd be able to make it to, but since I'm not an alum or student...I'd have to StubHub it
