Cafe 31 is at 220 West 31st Street, between 7th and 8th Avenue, on the South side of the Garden. It's a little closer to 7th Avenue, on the South side of the Street, or across the street from the Garden/Penn Station entrance. It is pretty easy to find, but there's no awning, which can be tricky.
On a separate note, 007 - are you planning to bring some more shirts down to sell at Cafe 31, or are you all out. I'm still waiting to purchase this years addition. Of course, of the 20/+ Hoya shirts I thought I had, my friends continuously steal them, except for my simple GEORGETOWN grey shirt that I've worn since '95-'96.
Also, for all of you out there who prefer to go to other bars and get-togethers pre-Big East, that's cool, but please remember that CAFE 31 is where the big-time old-school and some very new-school Hoyas go.
Funny how things have been distributed, but the Alumni from the 80's and 90's tend to like Cafe 31, but then a group of younger alum like other venues. For instance, many who make up the whole Proof group (that I'm now a staple member of!), make up a core group of alumni that aren't really well tuned into the board. But what's funny is that the current students, such as the big-time Hoya Blue crew, are Cafe 31 fans. Basically, we need to get the 2000-2005 classes to 31, and we'll have managed to get a sampling of all the generations of Hoya fans, haha!
LET'S GO HOYAS!!! SINK SOUTH FLORIDA!

I agree that Café 31 is the place to go -- I go there before and/or after every event that I go to at the Garden -- and I didn't mean to discourage people from going there (even my wife doesn't pay any attention to my opinions, so I wouldn't expect anyone on this board to either).
I was just voicing my disappointment in the improvements that they made. The St. John's game was my first time there in a while and I was surprised by the new look. I also wasn't knocking fishamajigs and Fribbles, both are excellent.

Thanks for the address. Hopefully we can get a large group of alumni and students at 31 before the game. I don't want to speak for 007 because I'm not sure how many shirts we have left in his apartment - but there are very few left if there are any left.

I'll be bringing XL's, we have a good amount of those left but almost nothing else. So where were the XL's at MCI? All I could get were M and L a few weeks ago. Try to save two for me- I will be coming up Friday on a desperate search for semifinal tix, so long as everything goes well Thursday.

We ordered an extra box of XL's about 2 weeks ago that we started selling at the last 2 home games, that's where they were! haha

See you all tomorrow.

007 - You better save me a couple of those XL's or I may have to revoke your ticket privileges to MEGAFANLAND! Just kidding, I think you have a lifetime pass on the non-stop express! I have been juggling a hundred things to make it so that I can attend tomorrow. If only Georgetown had taken care of business the other night, I could have avoided re-scheduling my work/travel. But as it turns out, I'm gonna make it tomorrow. This is my 10th consecutive BET baby!

Just secured a ticket for tomorrow. If we advance beyond that, I won't be able to make it--here's hoping I'm frantically running around to check scores all weekend.
Alas, I'll be sitting with a Domer though--a priest no less. And I'm not even Catholic.
Go Hoyas.

As dTRAIN said, we'll be there w/some others from class of '92. I think I've only missed one GU game in the BET since the year I graduated. We'll be at Cafe 31 (pre and post game), and I believe in section 112 during our games.
