I'm sure 2006 WG would do just fine against our '82 team. I mean, WG beat St. Bonaventure's AND Dayton this year, for crying out loud!

Seriously, I love how they put both Gtown teams in the same half of the bracket so that there couldn't be an all Hoyas final...I think we should blame Feinstein for this too

Where's the '96 Hoya team? It'd be a fun game to watch but they would wipe the floor with this year's GW squad

Funny. As if the 1980, 1985, 1987, 1989, and 1996 GU teams would not have run any WG team ever put together off the court.

Ummmmm, someone want to explain to me how the 2006 WG team, the 2001 Catholic team and the 1982 UDC team are in this bracket and THE 1985 HOYAS ARE NOT??? What's the freaking point of this bracket if what is arguable the 2nd best team in DC history (and at worst, the 3rd best) isn't in it? Hell, you could argue that the 85 team was better than the 84 team.

Is the 2001 catholic team the one with the kid who was punching people in the crotch?

Well if it was all Georgetown teams, nobody would vote and they would get no traffic.
Same reason why ANY Virginia Tech team is on there.

From the 1982 team page: "In what everyone thought was a sure-fire first national championship for Coach John Thompson and the Hoyas, Fred Brown inexplicably made an errant pass in the closing seconds with Georgetown up one on North Carolina and it was intercepted by James Worthy."
Apparently, the Feinstein fact-checking methodology is spreading.

guys the teams are grouped by region. the gtown teams are together cause they all are from DC. all the Maryland teams are in the Maryland region and all the Virginia teams are in Virginia. If GW out votes the 1982 team I'll be really Editeded.
I'm unfamiliar with most of the teams are any of them even close to being as good as our 1984 team?
