It seems pretty clear he is on his way out - will the team lay it all out for his last game, or will they mail it in 'cause they're glad to be rid of him?

Pretty sure SoFla has mailed this season in either way. Coach on his way out or not, we have too much to play for to care.

They were competitive until around game 10 of the BE schedule and have been non-competitive since. Two double digit losses to Rutgers sums it up.

Have you guys forgotten the St. John's game from a couple years back? Were we their only win, or maybe they got two but we were their first. I know we were a horrible team that year, but still. Playing defeated teams can be scary because you never want to be their ONLY win.

It was the end as far as I was concerned. That game was grounds for being fired on the spot.

Right on -- an obvious mail job against a team that could have been assembled at Yates Field House, sealed by Esherick's ho-hum response afterwards -- a red flag that both he and the team had given up on each other. I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I've always thought that the wheels for the JTIII hire actually started turning here. If ESPN has the rights to the USF game, why can't Channel 8 carry it?

If ESPN has the rights to the USF game, why can't Channel 8 carry it? I'm guessing because ESPN won't be sending a crew to broadcast it.
