On the train ride home from the game...some little kid (I'm guessing he was about 9 or 10) dressed in Syracuse colors was crying his heart out because the Cuse just lost while his dad tried to console him.
Maybe it's a bit insensitive...but it's Syracuse

Life's a b--ch kid. Particularly in upstate New York. Get used to it.
God forbid there were any Hoya child fans like this...Kleenex would have made a fortune during the Esherick years.
As an amusing, "wow you're a jerk" aside. A Cuse fan literally shoved a woman out of her seat on the metro today because he wanted to sit on the window side and sleep. Not saying all cuse fans are like this, or GU has none of these guys, but seriously, how do you act like that and live with yourself?

It's good for him. He still has time to correct his future.

What self-respecting parents would allow their kids to be Syracuse fans. It's just terrible parenting on their part. Some simple rules for kids are in order no matter how old they are (age 5 and up):
1) Do not drink and drive 2) Never root for SU cks

You should have told the kid not to cry - the NIT is a fun tournament!

Loved watching the Whiny Orange sit sullenly in the train on the way home. Such a beautiful sight. Their hangover is going to be so painful tonight.

Get used to crying, when Jimmy B decides to hang it up its going to make for very long cold winters in upsate NY. Maybe you should consider moving to South Florida

After mentioning he was adopted - drop that Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny aren't real.

Was the crying kid a Boeheim relative?
Seriously, it's kinda sick to take pleasure from a crying kid, even if he'll get over it soon. But since I know that he'll grow up to be another one of the beer-swilling, cursing, obnoxious, loud-mouth, orange-wearing types... it's tough to really be sympathetic.
