We're in, baby! Cuse will be invited. Maybe yes, maybe not yet - only 2-8 against the top 50, nothing on the road.

We are in the dance and are currently looking at a pretty high seed. We have 10 wins (looking at 11) in one of the best (if not the best) conferences in the land. We have beaten the #1 team in the land and haven't lost to a bad opponent all season. We are dancing and now it is just a question of seeding and opponents.

I completely misread that one. If they beat Depaul, then they need either an upset over NOVA or two wins in the BET. Personally, I think they'll be in the NIT this year. They just aren't that good of a team

;D Cheat sheet time www.midmajority.com/conference.php?c=BIGEAST'Cuse got exposed kind of early in its ooc this year. Hard to get a handle on how many BE teams will get invited. Some saying 7, others saying 9. As a newly reformulated conference, we'll be a tough one for the selection committee to figure out. (Except to note that some of our supposed mid-tier teams have beaten higher tiers of other conferences.) Time to start scanning the 'net auction sites checking up on prices and availability for NCAA tickets. So good to have the Hoyas dancin' again. ;D

SU will be a great test for all the "experts" who say a .500 record in the Big East gets you in the tournament. Assuming a win against DePaul and a loss to Nova, that will put them at .500. I can't see them as deserving to go if that happens- unless they make a big run in the BET. Their only 2 wins that even come close to being considered quality are against Cincy and WVU. The WV win is a good one, but when you see how badly they've lost to every other quality opponent, it should stand out like a sore thumb as being the exception and not the rule. I would give Cincy a bid over SU, but it won't surprise me when the opposite happens..........call it the Magoo factor.
Regardless of SU......it is going to be SO nice to actually have a strong interest in the NCAA Selection Show this year!!!!
