A recent change of travel plans likely has me in Tampa for the Hoyas' season finale against South Florida on March 4 and I was wondering if any fellow Hoyatalk members were going to be in the Sun Dome and, if so, how did you go about getting tickets? Any suggestions as to how you got your seats (i.e., Hoop Club or through Ticketmaster) would be greatly appreciated.
I'll probably look to order the tickets one way or the other by this Wednesday.
Thanks!

Nice, Grandpa! I'll be there. Similar thing happened to me actually--my dad ended up with a voucher on Southwest that he needed to get rid of before the end of March. I called to order three tickets (mom and the younger sis are driving up)through the Hoop Club this past Tuesday afternoon, and they didn't seem too concerned about availability. If it means anything, my donation this year was a nice, big fat check for 25 bucks. Just 975 smackers away from a Nova ticket I checked Ticketmaster as a backup, and as of Tuesday best available was still in the middle bowl of the Sun Dome. Shouldn't be a problem doing walk-up tickets one would think, USF has...uh...issues with attendance I think. Difference b/t Hoop Club tix and Ticketmaster is about a buck (26 per + 5 bucks for HHC, 25 + service charge for TM). A couple people from the HHC are going IIRC, including Al Bozzo. The GTown Club of Tampa is doing something event-wise on Saturday I heard, but I don't know what. Have to find out. Hopefully see you there though.

Thanks for the info FL. I think I'll probably go ahead and try to order through the Hoop Club since I'll also be getting a ticket for my father-in-law who is already down in the Tampa area on vacation as we speak. Did Sports Information happen to indicate how the tickets will be sent out (mail/fedex or will-call)?
Thanks again and look forward to hopefully seeing you (and a few other Hoya fans at the game)!

Did Sports Information happen to indicate how the tickets will be sent out (mail/fedex or will-call)? They said they'd be mailed out "closer to the date of the game"...I didn't ask whether that meant Fed-Ex. I had them sent to my parents house in Florida, cause I don't totally trust the mail people at my apt. complex (OR Georgetown for that matter ), and my mom/sis are coming on Saturday morning, whereas I'm flying in late Friday night.
