Looks like it is going to be a waxfest, the only chance that we have is that they will still have EDITEDfrom their win over UCONN and hopefully they think we blow (which we do) and over estimate us. This is going to be a real test for JTIII. to see if he can turn the team around.

Villanova 66 Georgetown 64
Villanova shoots 90% from the field in the second half in a battle for the ages. Some call it the perfect half. The game wil be replayed on Classic sports for decades. Unfortunately, Villanova PG admits to ripping rails in the locker room before the game, but the scandal can never take away the game.
Good luck Sunday.

I predict Georgetown will defeat Villanova.
We got the size. We will get our outside shot back. We will be amped for this game and reenergized. JTIII will reteach the guys how to break down a zone.
We lost to WVU and Marquette ON PURPOSE so we can suprise Nova. Just remember what happened after SFU.
Remember, you heard it here first.

Hoyas come back after 3 tough halves, turns out esh was slipping valium into their gatorade. Hoyas - 65 Nova - 61

Esh is found hidden in a luggage compartment on the team bus -- once removed, and the stench of defeat that follows him dissipates, the Jan 21- Feb 9 Hoyas return in stride:
Hoyas 72 Nova 66

Lowry has more rebounds then Hibbert, Green, and Bowman combined.
Foye dunks on our bigs.
Nardi, member of the Big East's initial "All 8 Mile Team" with McNamara, Devendork of Cuse, Pittsnogle of WVU and that thing from SJU who wears #15 with shaved eyebrows--will have a big game against us.
Jeff Green rebounds with a good effort.
Hibbert is lost amongst the quicker pace/4 guard lineup.
Some jerkoff will have a big game against us we don't expect--I'll say Dante Cunningham for the simple reason he's from DC and wants to stick it to Hoya fans.
Bowman, Cook, and Owens come out of their slumber in 2nd Half but it's too late and Hoyas lose by at least 10 pts.
What happens after that is key to season and in many ways the program. You can't lose the momentum and positive strides this year--or you might not ever get over the hump. Remember MAryland beat Duke twice last year and stayed home from NCAA's due to sucking down the stretch--so beating Duke doesn't mean sqaut--playing good basketball does.

The poise and execution will return.
Ashanti will emerge from his 3-ball slumber. Good Brandon will show up, with fire in his belly and rage in his eyes. Jon will pick pockets like he's at Flushing Station in the early 90's. Darrell will do what he did against St. John's the first time we played them this season.
Jay Wright will be counting dollar signs in his head from all the coin he'll get from negotiating a contract extension after beating #1, and rather than pay attention to the game, he will accidentally put 6 guys in, which the refs will catch this time.
My hot friend at 'Nova law who graduated from Gtown undergrad will find a spot behind the Nova bench and coo "hey boyyys" at opportune moments, throwing off 'Nova's rythym all night.
Roy will watch the 80's Highlights tape that fans-of-the-game win at MCI and realize he wants to do nothing but block every shot in the paint. And he does.
Jeff Green will do a combination Dr. Jekyl - Mr. Hyde / Incredible Hulk impression, swelling in size and might, and drop 25 on the Cats without breaking a sweat (but shouting guttural, monosyllabic caveman grunts all night).
And the Hoyas will win.

Villanova 65, Georgetown 60.
We play much better but ultimately succumb to Nova on their home court.
I'll be there in person to witness it, so Hoyas, prove me wrong!
