Humiliated on national TV last night, slapped silly, the good from the Pitt upset fading fast - now is the time to get ticked off, pump up the intensity, and protect your home court over the hated Orangeboys on Sunday. Let's hear some echoes of that "NIT, NIT" chant the UConn fans broke out the other night!

The posts around here are getting increasingly inane and confusing.

Is it really that confusing? I live in upstate NY, am surrounded by SU fans, enjoy each of their losses almost as much as our wins. I wanted the Johnnies to tank last night, but hope they can turn their performance around by Sunday.. DUH.

Yea, it'd be great if SJU took it to Cuse this weekend. Cuse still has remaining games vs. WVU, vs. Nova, and georgetown. They SHOULD lose all 3 of those. They also already have 5 losses, so if they do in fact lose those 3, that's 8. Now, if St. Johns, Cincy, or 'Ville manages to take one from them in these next 3 games, 'Cuse figures to finish below .500 in conference play.

Don't sweat it, FrasierFanatic. Keep the faith in the midst of the Orange enemy.
I have fond memories of road-tripping to the Dome as a young alum to watch the hoyas beat up on cuse. They stuck us in the very last row before the roof the first time. Of course, we proceeded to pound on the duct work and create a lot of noise. The next year, Syracuse gave GU tickets starting 3rd row from the top to try and stop the hoya energy. Proud to say it didn't only encouraged us.

Thanks for the thoughts, I've been living with it for almost 25 years since i got out - and I made a few trips to the Dome myself in the mid-80's, I know those nosebleed seats very well. The last few years have been torture up here, so the chance to rub it into the Orangeboy faces is particularly sweet. HOYA SAXA!
