JWall's FTs concern me, too. If you're going to be a big-time team, not just a middling one, your point guard has to be able to hit FTs to preserve a lead under pressure. Likewise Jeff, but he had played so incredibly well that I'm giving him a pass. And, although DJ was quiet most of the game, he was money at the stripe when we needed every point we got.

Yeah, for DJ to come in and knock down 2 clutch ones like that was huge. Props to Owens. Great game Hoyas!

BB is playing very well within the system, and I think our recent good play is due to him. Good job BB, keep it up!

Said Bowman: "Coach [John Thompson III] is always talking to me about my defense. He says if I pick that up, the sky's the limit. I felt like I was just out there the first half, and the coaching staff felt the same. So, me being a senior leader, I had to pick it up in the second half, and I felt like I did that."
From the Barker game notes...wow, I love this kid. I love this team. None of those stupid pride issues. Just straight talk and teamwork.

Donny Marshall. . .
NCAA color commentator? Or star of the "Donny Marshall, We Barely Knew Ye" show?
If Marshall could have gotten over talking about himself a little, he might have enjoyed the game a bit more.
Maybe I'm being a little harsh. But since I had already seen the game, when I got home and watched it again on tape, I wasn't as caught up in the action, so was able to pay attention to the commentary more than I normally would. Seems to me his most in-depth analysis was along the lines of, "Wow, Chet, Pitt sure hasn't scored in a long time. . ."
