I hate all of Vitale's stupid rankings. They have the best front court, they have the best back court. Total nonsense. Who cares?

I thought the consensus was that all of Vitale's columns were ghost-written schlock?

Do people think V is annoying - sure, but he's also much more visible than some of the more technical writers. Look, hate him if you want, but its still good press and while we are on the rise, let's not scoff at good press, where ever it may come from

I'd add a bitter Vitale diatribe ... but what's the point. He's a cartoon character. Duke has the third best frontcourt, apparently based on the potential of Josh McShavlikRandoberts. Wonderful. P.S. Hey Dick, check out the box score: sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/boxscore?gid=200601210229

41 for Bowman/Green
9 for McRoberts/Williams
Yeah, they're #3 and Gtown is #7 alright...

During the NJ State U at Durham v. Chestnut Hill School for the Jerks game, Vitale made the comment that McRoberts is "going to be a star. Not a good player, a star!"
For what its worth...

Remember, with JJR's done after this season, Dukie V has to start lobbying for the next all-Rolls Royce Duke player... McR or Paulus.

I agree with Buffalo Hoya. How can Duke have the third-best backcourt NOW based on the fact that McRoberts is a POTENTIAL star?!?!?! This just boggles the mind. Does Dukie V not see how comments like that cause people to want to smash their head through a wall?
