On the front page of the ESPN.com website there's a poll for the Most Surprising College Basketball Team of the year. It's us vs. GW, Arizona, Kentucky, and Louisville. Note: Surprising must equal surprisingly good or bad- as Louisville has the early lead in the poll. Should we get the vote out as a "surprising team"?

I think it's funny that there are more surprisingly bad teams than surprisingly good teams. And that the two surprisingly good teams are both from DC. Also not sure whether we should try and build ourselves up as a surprise team of the year. I mean I'm happy when the media says they're surprised how good we are this year but It sounds kinda bad from people within the program saying it's a surprise. We knew we had a good team. I mean granted the duke win was a surprise but not THAT big of one.

Hmmm...we're somewhat better so far than most predicted. GW was predicted to be a Sweet Sixteen team, so not sure how they've been surprising.
More surprising to me on the good side is Tennessee, maybe Florida. Seton Hall if they keep it up. Marquette. George Mason definitely.

somewhat better, but not THAT much better. barring a very solid finish - i see us as a five seed in the big east - and we were preseason sixth. so i don't know
