We all know BB almost blew it. Inexcusable. I'm sure there were a few near heart attacks tonight.
But ya know what? They won an OT game. At Notre Dame, where wins have been as rare for the Hoyas as they have been in MSG. Not to mention their horrible OT record with this team. This was so obviously a "let-down" game, but they hung tough and won.
Before we all turn on BB again, I say, in the immortal words of Walter Sobchek, "F--k it dude... let's go bowling" and BRING ON CINCY!!!
(How's THAT for denial?)

Hey, at least now BB is due for a great game. I say he gets at least 16 against Cincy!

More optimism...
... this win will only improve the team's AP ranking, and hopefully launch them into the ESPN/Coaches Poll!!! YAAAY!!!
(Man, I'm really grasping at straws here)

I think you're exactly right, Buffalo. Let's not demoralize BB any more than he will be already for having made that mistake. I say we let it go. We won. Forget about it. Even though I have to run for the Maalox now.

Winning an OT game on the road -- priceless!
OK, maybe not priceless, but still another huge step forward from past seasons. Now we've got to really get people out for the Cincy game, win, and we'll be an excellent position in the conference.

BB is demoralized enough. III kept him on the bench most of the OT. He knows what he did. He's a competitor. He's Editeded. He'll move on as we all will.
BRING ON THE BEARCATS!!

Yes, I too think BB will have a good (great?) game vs Cincy. He must feel bad and will come out with determination the next game.

I'd like to make a point about BB. Yes, he should not have fouled. BUT, We would not have had the lead in the first place wihtout his 2 clutch free throws and his clutch rebounding down the stretch. So, I'm willing to give BB a pass here- he played his way back into the game at the end of reg and played well with the exception of 1 play.

Any road W in the BE is a GREAT win. We are slowly assembling a nice tourney resume.
Here's to ND winning enough to keep their RPI high- and missing the BET.

Amen about missing the BET. I don't want to see Quinn in a game against GU ever again.

Dude, Bobo grabbed key boards when he came back in. As much as he tried to blow it, he was shaving points on both ends.

I am very worried about fatigue, much more so than today’s game. Duke was physically and emotionally exhausting on our players with our seniors playing 30 minutes + and to make matters worse we just played 2 overtimes. I bet Ashanti is really cramping now.
3 days rest, I hope it is enough. Being at home will help a lot too. So lets skin some cats!

I think we'll be ok on fatigue because we have a few days post-travel to recoup. I'd guess that JTIII spends tomorrow mostly introducing Cincinatti and doing more walk through type stuff to prep for their O. Thursday'll be a bit more strenuous, and will see a more fast-paced runthrough against a Cincinatti style O. Friday, another walk through. I think they'll be OK by Saturday though. Cincinatti's actually playing a road game tomorrow (though it's a short distance) and then traveling to DC for the weekend, so they'll probably have more fatigue issues than we will, though our last 2 games have been pretty physically and emotionally exhausting.
