The last time Doyel criticized a Hoya it was BB before a certain game against a certain team from NC that rhymes with "Dew Levels". If that's what it takes I hope Doyel writes a scathing attack on our boys before every game.

Doyel is being very superficial in his analysis. Green has done other things this year with the emergence of Hibbs, but I admit his scoring inconsistency bothers me and Doyel is on to something. However, the point about Bowman is ridiculous. I mean using his sophomore numbers? We had a different coach, a different team and he was playing a different position! That is just bad reporting by Doyel, he should really be embarassed.
I do however agree these two have been crazy inconsistent and they need to get down to business every game against every opponent. I always know they will be there when we play a top team but we need them in every game. Bowman especially seems to need an extra nudge to play to his fullest capability - this quality will serve hime well in the NBA. Problem is he's still playing college ball where you have to bring your game every night!

What about @ James Madison, when they combined for 10 points? Or against Fairfield, where JG had 2 points? Or Colgate, where JG had 5 on 1-6 FGs? Or Providence, where JG had 2 on 0-4 FGs? Or against USF, where they combined for 11 pts? **** JMU - win Fairfield - win Colgate - win Providence - win USF - win These two represent 40% of the starting five. The other 60% aren't exactly stat compilers either. Somebody must be doing something right. Good players find a way to help their teams, even if it isn't always reflected in the box score.

He's kind of right, but he needs to know that our team does not rely on just one player (i.e., 5 players in double figures vs. Duke & ND; Owens lights out nights vs. his 2-point nights.

Key boards is all I have to say. Key boards. As much as he was a bone head...no one went up to get some KEY boards like Bobo did tonight.

Forget Bowman, what about everybody else? From the looks of the stat sheet and the sound of Chvotkin's voice, Hibbs, Cook, D.O., Wallace, and Green were all stellar. I love it!
