UConn up 20 at the half at the Carrier Dome. I'd say we did a little bit better.
Anyone see McCroskey posterize some UConn guy, and then proceed to yap at him and stare him down? Looks real good when you are down 20+ points at the half.
Can't wait till we expose these frauds at our house.

Oh no I started the same type thread at the same time! Actually, we made some of the same points too, haha.

Either UConn is a lot better than they looked against us, Cuse is horrendous, or both. Here's to UConn posting wins like this against the rest of the Big East, as we take care of business on our end.

I wish UConn was missing free throws on Saturday as they are tonight.

Vitale overuses that line about coaches and fellow broadcasters overachieving when it comes to their wives. But he ain't kidding when it comes to Boeheim's wife.

too bad. it would have looked nice for UConn to have won that game by 25.

Oh, man. Cuse's next five games are deadly. Well, except for the home game against Seton Hall. At Villanova. Then at Pitt. Home against Seton Hall. At Rutgers. At UConn. Hopefully they'll pick up at least three losses during that streak.

I'm so dissapointed that UConn slacked off in the second half. If they had played like that on saturday we would've won. That being said the Half time score was a much better reflection of where these teams actually stand rather than the final.

I enjoy watching Cuse lose.
Both teams played sloppy - around 20 turnovers on both sides. I feel like we did a better job on UConn defensively, especially in the paint. Josh Boone was just ripping through there.

Is it not possible that we're pretty good, and UConn is just a bit better? Sure. Probably more possible than you think. Actually, watching them in person on Saturday against us and on TV in some of their previous games like LSU and Cincy, I got the impression that at this point in the season UConn was a team that had another gear or two that they could (but weren't) shift(ing) into at the moment. Not cause they didn't want to, I guess maybe I do sort of believe the idea that they needed to get used to running with Marcus Williams again. I think they got there a lot more often tonight, although they def. slacked off and got lazy at the end.

My irritation was that Vitale was calling the Big East game and not Raferty--who DESERVES to for being loyal to the Big East and not just around to hype himself. Screw Vitale and hope he gets that "someone shot my puppy dog" look on Saturday Night like he had after UConn beat Duke 2 years ago.

He should be in some airport with his buddy Dan Patrick waiting to travel to his next ACC game.

This game is exhibit A why trying to run with UConn is not a good idea.
The Hoyas' close loss looks all the better as my impression was that Syracuse had no shot against them last night.

BTW, anyone think Josh Boone looks a bit like Furio from the Sopranos??? I was watching one of the re-aired 2nd Season Episodes and then tuned into UConn game and it hit me--knew he looked like someone before, but originally compared him to one of those Ghost Twins in Matrix Sequel, but he'll now be known as Furio for the rest of his Big East career.
And still say that Eric Devendorf is Hoop Version of Cheddar Bob from 8 Mile--or he just reminds of what lives in the 8 Mile--so that will be his moniker while at Cuse--Cheddar Bob DevenDORK.

I prefer to go with what my 14 yr old daughter said about Boone: "Dad, that guy is really ugly!"
