Approximately 20 of Jessie's friends and family were at the game last night sitting behind the basket right by Georgetown's bench. They were really into the game and when Jessie scored they along with a lot of Georgetown alums went crazy. There was a pretty good Jessie Sapp chant at the very end of the game and after the game in the tunnel there was another very loud jessie sapp chant. Jessie's family seemed very appreciative of all the support. Great job by Georgetown fans showing up and making a lot of noise. You could see the shocked look on our players faces when they were being announced and got loud applause.

Glad to see our alums are doing a good job turning out. Our homecourt advantage at St. Johns is almost as much as our homecourt advantage at MCI!
Glad to see Jessie is getting some love. On the game broadcast at one point they showed a girl and a guy wearing shirts that said "SAPP" in big letters and had some picture underneath that I couldn't make out. Nice homecoming for him--hopefully the same group will be turning out to see him at the Big East tournament!

I love Sapp and what he brings to the table. We needed a guard from the freshman class to emerge as a favorite for a starting role next season and Sapp is the guy, even though Egerson had a good game as well at MSG. Hopefully Sapp will get better with each game and help swing some close Big East games in our favor.

Yeah i went up to the game from DC with my brother. It was a great enviornemnt. From what i could tell it was mostly students fromt he tri state area behing the basket. Sapp's sister was wearing ashirt with Jessie's pic on it that said sapp and she was dancing around a lot during breaks. It was a great enviornment as good if not better than MCI center thus far.

If only Jesse didn't have 4 turnovers so quickly.

Jessie will be great for us in time. For now- he fills a crucial role, that of the quick guard.
