Even SHU beat Manhattan... just how far has Cuse fallen?

Yeah, but SU was up 20 at the half! Is the box score even correct? This is a Dale Brown-sized collapse!

I know we're technically supposed to be at an advantage if SU wins its OOC games in terms of RPI and whatnot, but I really wanted to see them pick up loss number 3 already. I should have realized that I was banking on the Manhattan Jaspers to hold them off.
79-79 end of regulation, and I don't see any way SU is going to let Manhattan get ahead in OT like they did in the second half.

Unbelieveable. SU will REALLY suck this year- their D is awful. 61 points allowed in the second half?

According to the AP recap...
"The Jaspers blew a chance at victory by missing seven straight free throws in the final 1:42 and made only 1-of-8 shots in the extra period."
That's some serious luck right there...

I think it wil be a fun matchup this year between SU vs. GTOWN- the sinking ship against the rising 1.

You do realize that Syracuse has recruits coming in ranked every bit as high as anyone coming to Georgetown, right? Perhaps a bit premature to call them a sinking ship.

Cuse has already locked up 4 top 100 players for 2007. They certainly aren't sinking anytime soon. But they did misjudge some recent recruits and they're going to pay for it this year and next. McCroskey, Roberts, and Watkins all look like NBA players, but play like rec league players.
