The only damning stat there is Lee Reed -- but let's not forget that until last year, President DiGioia basically said he was the decision maker on men's basketball.
Last time I checked, Jay Heath was part of a team.
Dumping on Jay Heath seems to be in vogue today ... and let's face it, he's not helping himself. However, if he's to blame for his college basketball teams' records, then let's give him sole credit for winning 3 consecutive DCIAA championships.
From his bio: Helped Woodrow Wilson High School capture its third consecutive DCIAA Championship in 2019.

That's somewhat unfair to Lee Reed--he's not the coach. Football is 45-85 in that same period and it's not like he is responsible for that either.

Heath may not play the brand of basketball we want but coach keeps putting him out there. Those numbers are really contingent on the types of teams & situations people find themselves in. I'm not giving Heath/Reid credit/blame for the past few years of hoya basketball.

On the other hand, football is accepted to be a lost cause anyway since the school is just half a**ing it anyway

Not sure what the point of the stat is. If you want to blame anyone other than the coach/players et al its Jack D.
Reed had no ability to make major strategic decisions on his own.
When Jack retires I suspect that if we have a new president who is not a total insider, that everything about the program will be up for review.

Unless it’s just somehow someway denigrating the program. Also, stats are wildly misleading as they do not take into account Pitino’s 122 vacated wins.
