Everyone is focused on the D, but the offense really leaves something to be desired. We have zero inside threat so teams can swarm the perimeter. It’s leading to forced deep threes and easy transition buckets off the long rebounds. Correct; we run the 3 man weave until 7-8 seconds left on shot clock

I don't know what we're supposed to be doing on offense, but - it isn't working.
We might as well just go Paul Westhead, get a shot up ASAP, and crush the offensive glass.

Why is Heath out there for long stretches?

I don't know what we're supposed to be doing on offense, but - it isn't working. Marquette: 10 assists on 14 FG Georgetown: 1 assist on 9 FG Outside of Brumbaugh, Georgetown has no natural PG and no one else is running the offense.

0 FTs. This team has to find a way to get to the line to get some easy points.

Epps continually has open players on the wings, but his silly head is down looking for his own path.
He wasn't doing this at the start of the season, but really regressed.
Could be struggling to get his legs still from being sick. But, still a really poor first half.

Heath is an amazingly poor defender. Add Epps and Massoud to that list.

What do we do well? We can’t defend, pass or rebound. We can shoot, but can’t create open looks. How are we getting conference wins? We looked okay against really bad teams.

I can’t believe this is the offense that Cooley is teaching in practice. Marquette is a tough matchup but we aren’t using ball movement at all. Almost every possession settling for bad shots, fortunate to at least have made a few. I think the bad offense is also leaking into our defense, as they seem to get discouraged. Not a good look so far.

Give me more Ryan in the 2nd half. Sure he got blocked but he gives us better D and rebounding.

I thought a Cooley team would be tougher, grittier, have a chance to win ugly games. Not seeing any signs of that really other than a few runs against AU, TCU, and ND. I still believe in the long term plan, but honestly through 12.5 games, I’m not sure we are much better than we were last year. And it’s not like these aren’t his players. Outside of Heath and Bristol the other 5 main guys he picked.

I'd consider benching Epps, Massoud and Heath for the entire second half. Even if it means we lose by 50. Epps has been a terrible ballhog and is playing no defense, and Massoud and Heath have been literally worthless. No effort on D, no effort on O.
Run out Bacotte (who can't defend but tries) or Montgomery or whomever, but the effort level is atrociously bad.
Tell Styles this is his half, give the ball to Rowan, challenge Fielder to play tougher, get Bristol out there and Cook, well, he tries.
