Merrimack is KenPom #293, another truly horrendous squad on our schedule. kenpom.comIf we wanted fans to show up, we should schedule better opponents. Obviously, that's not a priority for those making these decisions. Nah, learning to win is more important right now. Why schedule better opponents if we don't even have a proper roster? I wonder what those posters who were saying that we didn't need more than 9 scholarship players think now. Totally agree. More important to have a good looking record against Basketball Weaving colleges than marquee opponents. We aren’t ready for the big dogs anyway yet.

I'm hoping the Hoyas get off to a great start, up by 20 at the half and Cooley starts second half in a zone with Ryan under the basket. Stay with it for at least 6-7 minutes. Let's really use these cupcake games to work on learning how to play zone and also give Ryan a chance to develop his game. Would rather see Supreme focus on angles, positioning and the like as he will see the overwhelming majority of the minutes come BE time. He has to learn how to effectively rebound.

It seems they hold the answer to everything.

Hoyas -10; O/U 140 Merrimack shoots only 26% from 3. Play decent perimeter defense, and stop the easy two pointers in the paint, we cover. As a Hoya fan you should know better than this. Of course they will shoot 60% from three lead by someone you’ve never heard of. My money is on Armandas Plintauskas.

We should schedule better teams in the future, but even still, the better type of team we’d schedule on a Tuesday night in November isn’t going to draw fans until we win other bigger games first.

Scoreboard not working for player stats. Uncle Ted trolling for $$$$ for renovations?

Smooth 3 from Massoud, definitely good to have him back against this zone

Nice 3 by Epps, but his turnovers need to stop.
Bacote needs to come out as not defending and horrible shooting attempt straight under the basket. Grad transfer?

Ryan just had 3 better defensive trips than Supreme has had all year. He was also wide open for a dunk on Masouds long 3. Lucky for him it went in.
