Men's team championship was wild. OK State won with 49 points, the lowest since Stanford's legendary 2003 24 point championship. NAU was second in the men's race as well. Congrats to coach Smith.

What Coach Smith were you talking about? Both OSU and NAU are coached by Mike and Dave.

We knew going in that the women did not have much depth. The first five were solid and if anything happened to one of those five, we would not be fighting for a podium position. And guess what? Melissa gave it her all, but was not able to complete the race. So the difference between 18th place and 4th place was one runner.

Checking again - this time wearing my glasses - Wisconsin men scored 37 in 2005. Point stands, a dominant performance for OSU.

Incredible run from Chloe! Congratulations to her! It's a shame Melissa had a rough go, and I hope she's ok. Looks like the women finished 18th with 419 points. Nevada, thank you for updating me on Melissa's illness this week. So brave of her to give it a go for the team today, and my heart breaks for her getting sick at this point after all the hard work and superb performances she's put in. Best wishes for her to recover and come back for the rest of the year.

The final coaches' ratings mimic the final placings in the NCAA champs, so women 18th, men 30th.
