November 18 is the date of the NCAA XC champs hosted by UVA. So almost a home meet for the Hoyas. Not much travel!
The lineup for the women. Ten are listed, but I believe only seven can actually compete:
200 Caroline Cummings Georgetown [FR] 201 Maggie Donahue Georgetown [SR] 202 Chloe Gonzalez Georgetown [JR] 203 Mary Hennelly Georgetown [JR] 204 Anya Hirschfeld Georgetown [SR] 205 Barrett Justema Georgetown [FR] 206 Melissa Riggins Georgetown [SO] 207 Chloe Scrimgeour Georgetown [JR] 208 Alexandra Stout Georgetown [SR] 209 Kelsey Swenson Georgetown [SR]
The men's lineup:
592 Jackson Barna Georgetown [FR] 593 Camden Gilmore Georgetown [JR] 594 Lucas Guerra Georgetown [SO] 595 Birhanu Harriman Georgetown [FR] 596 Peter Herold Georgetown [JR] 597 Charlie North Georgetown [FR] 598 Luke Ondracek Georgetown [FR] 599 Matthew Rizzo Georgetown [JR] 600 Parker Stokes Georgetown [JR] 601 Abel Teffra Georgetown [JR]
For the men Matt Rizzo and Parker Stokes will surely lead them. I am thinking that Abel Teffra (back from illness), Birhanu Harriman (surprise of the year), and Lucas Guerra will be the top five. Peter Herold should be in the top seven, but has not shown good results this season. Charlie North and Luke Ondracek most likely be competing.

An update on the men's team. Again, seven runners count can run (top five count).
Camden Gilmore, Lucas Guerra, Birhanu Harriman, Charlie North, Luke Ondracek, Matt Rizzo, Parker Stokes, Abel Teffra. Jackson and Peter left off. Again, top five performance was expected by Peter (sickness, injury???).
The women's lineup:
Caroline Cummings, Maggie Donahue, Chloe Gonzalez, Mary Hennelly, Anya Hirschfeld, Barrett Justema, Melissa Riggins, Chloe Scrimgeour, Kelsey Swenson. Again seven can run.

The women came in 18. That is the bad news. The good news is that Chloe S. finished in 8th place overall.

Incredible run from Chloe! Congratulations to her! It's a shame Melissa had a rough go, and I hope she's ok. Looks like the women finished 18th with 419 points.

In the men's race, the leaders were out in 2:29 at 1k which... MIGHT not be sustainable.
Saw a big pack of Hoyas running a more, let's say measured, pace and seem in decent early position.

Good to see our freshman finish strongly. Camden dropped out after 5K.
