Hoyas clearly better team today. Not close. How does Lehigh fall this far with schollies? 1-6. 7 straight losing seasons for the once PL blue blood.

I really wish Holy Cross beat Harvard this year. Be better for the league. Bummer they are 0-2 vs Mass schools.

Harvard is ranked #5 in FCS- no shame in HC losing there. HC and Laf Coll are also both ranked top 20. Colgate a big game for our program. GU can actually write its own script here. we have a v good team and it's improving each week. score last week should have been 31-7 (thats how much better we truly were). areas we can still improve (1) kick off coverage etc.., is really lacking - other special teams have improved - FG in particular as well as punt returns (2) short yardage situations on offense - 3rd and 4th downs, we really struggle in these situations. if we continue our overall good play and improve in the latter areas- we definitely can win saturday, but its a huge test. (old cliches - "its the little things that matter and how you do the little things is how you do everything." even the biased Lehigh broadcast team last weekend claimed "GU can play with anyone in the PL" (high praise). I am really impressed with our defensive and offfensive coaching (some of the play calls on offense we made were really key). we are a young team that is maturing (cant believe how many frosh and sophs are on the field) no need to look ahead ( i am anyway) but the following weekend is lafayette with potentially a whole lot on the line (PL title and nat'l ranking possibly). who would have dreamed or predicted this scenario at the end of last season? let alone after losing to stonehill 4 weeks ago??? Ummmmmm nobody. Go Hoyas!!!!!!
