This is an elite meet at UVA on Saturday. I think the Hoyas can consider this a home meet, because the proximity to campus. The UVA course will also be the venue for the NCAA finals.
Lineup:
Air Force BYU Butler Charlotte Colorado Columbia Duke Eastern Kentucky Elon Georgetown Iowa State Michigan Navy North Carolina Northern Arizona Princeton Providence Stanford Syracuse Utah State Villanova Virginia Wake Forest Washington The Hoyas have a chance of picking up at large points, which is important as a top two finish is not guaranteed at Regionals.
Men's lineup:
238 Mateo Althouse Georgetown [SO] 239 Jackson Barna Georgetown [FR] 240 Camden Gilmore Georgetown [JR] 241 Lucas Guerra Georgetown [SO] 243 Peter Herold Georgetown [JR] 246 Charlie North Georgetown [FR] 247 Luke Ondracek Georgetown [FR] 249 Matthew Rizzo Georgetown [JR] 250 Parker Stokes Georgetown [JR] 251 Abel Teffra Georgetown [JR]
Everybody you would expect except Matt Payamps and Caleb Lakeman. As usual no real freshmen. I thought they might have used Harriman, because of his fitness from altitude training.

The only change from the national and regional rankings this week is that the women fell one place to #12 from a tie with UVA. Men still receiving votes, women #1 in the region and men #3 in the region.

Weather at UVA tomorrow morning is 90% chance of rain and 22 mph wind. Should be a real XC meet. Maggie is not running.

Hoya men started strong-ish, in 6th at the 1K mark, 8th at the 2nd, but have dropped down to 18th at the 4000 mark.
Abel the only individual Hoya in the top 50, though the group is still pretty bunched up at the halfway mark, with #50 being only 7 seconds off the leader’s pace.
