The world famous (at least in the US and Jamaica) is this week. Lots of races among high schools, colleges, and professionals. The Hoyas have teams in the middle distance relays and should be competitive in some of these races. But the competition will be fierce, as schools from all over the nation will come.

The men are 2nd after two laps with Camden running 4:01.62 and Parker running 3:59.90.
Edit: It looks as if Abel ran the 3:59.90 instead of Parker.

Well, the 4th lap was a walk to the finish. The first six were within 0.64 s after four miles. The Hoyas came in 5th.
Washington was favored to win in a runaway, but finished 3rd. Oklahoma State had the best runner on anchor but finished 7th with one of the slowest anchors. Matt Payamps ran 4:10.65 and ended up 0.61 s behind the winner, sorry to say, Villanova.

In the national polls the men remain 52nd, while the women dropped three places to 69th. The men moved up one place to 10th in the regional poll; the women stay at 8th.
The men remain 6th in the Big East, and the women dropped one place to 4th. The women stay at #5 in the 1500m squad event, dropped one place in the 800m to 25th, and moved up five places in the 5000m. The men remain 2nd in the 1500m squad event, and dropped four places to #39 in the 800m.
