This weekend will have the Hoyas splitting in meets in Virginia and Kentucky. The highlight of the Kentucky meet will be Parker Stokes running the 3000mSC for the first time this year and he will be racing against Duncan Hamilton, who barely beat Parker for 2nd place in the NCAA finals by about 0.001 s as they got the same time 0f 8:18.88.

From Kentucky
1 Duncan Hamilton SR Montana State 8:25.17 2 Parker Stokes JR Georgetown 8:34.67 16 Jantz Tostenson JR Georgetown 9:36.10
I had expected Hamilton to win (maybe not that much) because Parker has had a slow start to the season, and Hamilton has had a good start. I know he wants to win the NCAA championships, so maybe he will peak at the right time. Today's time will be enough to get him into the regionals.

In this week's regional rankings, the women stay at #8, and the men move up one place to #11. The women move up one spot to #3 in the Big East, while the men remain at #6.
In the national rankings the women slipped three place to #66. The men move up 10 places to #52, mainly due to Parker's 7th in the country SC.
In the squad events the women dropped a place to #5 in the 1500m, two places in the 800m to #24, and 5 places in the 5000m to #22. The men remain at #2 in the 1500m (only two seconds behind Washington), and moved up six places in the 800m to #35.
