The Hoyas move to California to compete in the Bryan Clay Invitational. It seems that both the men and women will compete in the 1500m.
For the women Andrea, Sami, Grace, Katy-Ann, and Melissa are scheduled to run. And 599 other runners. For the men Camden, Matt P., Matt R. and Abel. And 649 other runners.

Melissa, Sami, and Grace are in the 11th heat of 12 (the fastest seed are in heat 12). Andrea is in heat 10, Chloe G. is in heat 9, and Chloe S. is in heat 2. But there is no heat with Katy-Ann.
For the men's 1500m the invite sections are fastest first. Matt P. is in the 2nd heat, Matt R. is in the 3rd heat (along with Matt Strangio, grad of Sutter MS, son of our head track coach), Abel T. is in the 4th heat, and Camden G. is in the 5th heat along with Peter Herald of UCLA and future Hoya.

2 Melissa Riggins Georgetown 4:10.09 Fantastic run by Melissa in the 2nd fastest heat. She won her heat and the only woman who had a better time, running in the fastest heat is Elise Cranny, pro elite runner.
31 Chloe Gonzalez Georgetown 4:16.87 41 Andrea Claeson Georgetown 4:18.01 44 Grace Jensen Georgetown 4:18.41 88 Sami Corman Georgetown 4:22.39 103 Chloe Scrimgeour Georgetown 4:23.84
It will be interesting to see how the Hoyas stand in the 1500m squad event.

13 Matthew Payamps Georgetown 3:38.55 22 Matthew Rizzo Georgetown 3:39.38 24 Camden Gilmore Georgetown 3:39.40 57 Abel Teffra Georgetown 3:43.20
As with the women the 1500m squad event should rate the Hoyas high.

Melissa's 1500m is the 2nd fastest 1500m Georgetown outdoor time of all time. Only Emily Infeld's time of 4:07.77 is faster. Rachel Schneider Smith had the 2nd fastest with a 4:10.53.

In the regional rankings the men moved up three places to 12th. The men move up six places to 8th in a tie with Nova.
The women remain 4th in the BE. The men dropped one place to 6th. DePaul also dropped one place, and ironically Marquette, who is likely to be a non-sport for track and field, moved up two places.
In the squad event for the 1500m, the men moved up 61 places to #2 in the nation, just behind Washington, with an average of the best four of 3:40.13. The women move up 75 places in the 1500m squad event to #4 in the nation behind Stanford, Oregon and BYU, with an average of 4:15.85.
National rankings are not available at this time.

In the national rankings the men move from not ranked to 62nd due to the 1500m runners, as Matt P. is ranked 8th in the country, Matt R. 16th and Camden 17th.
The women jumped 31 places to 63rd, mainly due to Mellisa's 3rd in the nation in the 1500m.
