Awesome that Cooley is not just building for next year, but for the future with these 2-3 year (eligibility) kids. Not to mention they are all top 100.

Hoya Saxa! Can’t let a top 100 guy from the neighborhood get away, glad he’s coming back home. Let’s keep it rolling, we need bigs to complement all this backcourt talent!

Love this pickup. He's originally a DC kid and is well known amongst the local circuit. Big point guard who should end up being an All-Big East guy eventually.
Glad to have him back home.

Great job to Ed Cooley and the staff. Keep them coming! Really happy that the Hoyas could secure a commitment from Rowan. I liked him when he was originally being recruited out of high school and thought he would be a good fit at Georgetown. With that being said I am not sure of the Hoyas are set at the PG position for next year yet. I have seen Epps play a little bit and I like him a lot as a combo guard, but not sure he is really a true point guard. No doubt he could give you some minutes at PG, but not sure that is his best position. As I said I am happy to have Rowan as part of the team, but not sure I want to give him the keys to the team yet. He has not played any college basketball yet (and I realize he was at Texas last year as a red shirt) and that is a lot to ask of a young player in his first year of college in a major conference. I think he will develop into a starter and a major contributor over the next few years, but he was not good enough last year to get on the floor at all in Texas. I know Texas was a very talented team, but it sounds like Rowan was not ready to contribute at that level last year. I would not mind finding a grad transfer point guard who has shown he can control pace, limit turnovers and play solid on ball defense to give Rowan some time to integrate into college basketball

He might or might not have been ready. There were limited minutes for him so he redshirted.
I think hes gonna start and Epps can also play PG in stretches. Having said that, I agree that we need 1 more capable ball handler.
1-2 center 1 PG Wing shooters

Last year we rolled out one guy and he was a high usage long 2's mess. The idea of having a pass first point gives me visions of Kolek in my head. Heath didn't really handle the ball so there is no doubt you need another ball handler. Love the pick up and direction of the overall roster!

Hilltop Hoops interview: He seems like a smart good kid. I guess they know each other? “Are you trying to recruit any players yourself to Georgetown now? What do you think this roster needs now? I’m helping recruit Hunter [Dickinson], obviously. I know he’s coming on a visit. We’re pretty deep in the backcourt. We definitely need some more shooting, like a knockdown guy. Every team needs one. But the roster looks really good already.”

Aiden has a mean streak that Rowan hasn't always shown. Both play very different paces and are incredibly good at passing, but also can shoot outside and get to the basket. Texas was stacked, which is why he was red shirt. Rowan reminds me of a Jason Kidd that can shoot well, but also a lot of Nash, Stockton, and Chris Paul.

I've played with Kidd in summer runs when he was in high school and saw Nash and Stockton a lot in early college year. Watch Aiden a bit in high school, but quite a bit at St. Mary's and watched a lot of practices and games with Roway and summer runs with college and pro player in summer, whien he was in high school. There are a lot of similarities.

The most shocking thing to me is that there is a player that lived at 35th & O that has the talent to be on a D 1 roster. Yes, I am stereotyping an entire neighborhood but I think we can agree that I'm right. This kid has the potential to be my favorite player if he can be a distributor from day one. I'm loving the hype train right now.
